While perusing the internet I recently (and by recently I mean this morning) found the Campus Pride's LGBT Friendly Campus Climate Index. I found it to be pretty interesting and worth taking a look at. They use a ranking system of a five star continuum for LGBT friendly practices, policies, and programs. There is a score for both sexual orientation and gender expression, and they break down their ratings by LGBT policy inclusion, LGBT support and institutional commitment, LGBT student and academic life, LGBT housing and residential life, LGBT campus safety, LGBT counseling and health, and finally LGBT recruitment and retention efforts. My school, Bryn Mawr College, has a score of 4.5 out of 5 stars. How does your school rate? Do you agree with their score?
