Argenitina Becomes First Latin American Country to Legalize Gay Marriage

Today Argentina became the first country in Latin America to legalize gay marriage with 33 votes for, 22 votes against, and 3 abstentions. The bill passed despite strong opposition from the Catholic Church and other religious groups that marched on Congress earlier this week.
